Multi-Site Manager

Job Description and Duties

  • Developer of the CosTracker Project Controls Tracking Software©

  • Developer of the CosTracker Project Controls Methodology

  • Founder/President of Computer Solutions, Inc., DBA CosTrack Project Controls

  • Minimum 27 years of controls experience within a CosTrack team setting

  • Can execute stand-alone project controls services at client job sites

  • Can lead a team as a project controls site lead at client job sites

  • Multiple job sites with a variety of projects:  TAR, capital construction, day-to-day operations, fall downs, emergency deployments

  • Master knowledge of the multiple functions and concepts of the CosTracker Project Controls Tracking Software© and the CosTracker Project Controls Methodology utilized within our organization.

  • Can produce project cost reports and forecasting reports to a finite level of detail

  • Familiarity and experience with a number of client planning, accounting, audit and reporting systems: SAP, JD Edwards, TRACK, Maximo, Honeywell, CTES, Primavera, etc.

  • Has extensive experience in the writing, reviewing, issuing, interpretation and enforcement of contracts

  • Ability to understand the flow of information though client accounting systems: locate isolated data, verify accounting, estimating and planning work through the systems from inception to utilization and closure

   The Multi-Site manager will perform the following duties:

  • Will perform all the technical connections to the client data sources and facilitate a comprehensive and efficient means of data collection.

  • Will program client specific reports and  desire into the project controls software.

  • Will assist in the development of project report format the client desires and will additionally provide recommendations for inclusion of any other relevant information.

  • Will utilize five methodologies of evaluation to arrive at the most appropriate forecast for the overall project, and varied individual projects.

  • Will administer the integrity of the software, the data incorporated into the system and backups on a scheduled plan to assure preservation of all data.

  • Will produce “S” curve progress graphs from data imported directly from the Primavera schedule.

  • Will develop and produce costs curves based on “locked-down” budgets and the build-up of costs across time from inception through project completion.

  • Will validate, account for and manage client project contingencies and EWR’s and will code the system to be able to isolate each of these charges.

  • Has attained a fine tuned expertise in the entry of data into the controls software covering all aspects of cost that could be incurred as a liability: labor, equipment rental, materials, reimbursable consumables and validates each of these against punch records, work orders utilized, purchase orders utilized, work schedules and the contract to assure comprehensive and accurate financial reporting.

  • Expertise in allocation of costs reported across projects, work types, scopes or packages to meet client cost allocation needs.

  • Has an expertise of the Primavera scheduling tools and progress models utilized within the CosTrack controls organization and will work alongside the scheduler to validate cost codes, budgets, companies and other necessary information is accurate and complete prior to the start of the project.

  • Is able to individually produce an overhead and indirect wrap-around schedule to account for, and accurately progress and forecast that portion of a project’s costs.

  • Understands and generally assigns the compilation of manpower graphs FTE and force reports to project and refinery management on a set schedule.

  • Has a direct interface with client project management in the effort to evaluate and disseminate meaningful and necessary project data so that mid-stream decisions can be made which preserve the budgets, timelines and integrity of the client project.

  • Can attend, present at, or lead any project related meeting involving the project controls portion of the job.
